National Apprenticeship Week

For National Apprenticeship Week, Matthews & Tannert invited the next generation of tradespeople into their business for a hands-on experience of life in the industry. Yorkshire Podcast Studios produced a film that captured the energy, purpose and long-term commitment behind the event.

The day was designed to give young people practical trial sessions across a range of core trades, including plumbing, electrical installation, plastering and carpentry. This was not a classroom presentation or a passive careers talk. It was real tools, real materials and real mentors guiding participants through practical tasks in a live working environment.
Our objective was to create more than a simple event recap.

The film needed to demonstrate Matthews & Tannert’s serious investment in apprenticeships and clearly communicate why training and development sit at the heart of their growth strategy. Along with the partners involved the video showcased the weeks learning and M&T’s commitment to young people.
