It's always a pleasure to welcome new clients to our state-of-the-art recording studios and Adept Corporate Services are one of the latest to turn ideas into a reality with Yorkshire Podcast Studios.
Adept are a security and cleaning company and its three directors wanted to open up their organisation. They saw podcasts / vodcasts as the perfect means to generate honest and healthy two-way communication with their staff, and within their industry.
So, with Alex McMahon taking on the role of podcast host and Nick Cooper and Alan Brierley the co-hosts, they have now recorded four episodes of their new podcast, 'Adepting To Change'. The trio began with an audio recording session in Studio 2, but on their second visit graduated to a full video production for their YouTube channel, with the audio edited to continue their podcast experience.
They have now recorded an episode with a studio guest, another with a remote guest, and two as a threesome. They tell us that the feedback from staff has been extremely positive.
"It's been really exciting to get cracking," said Alex. "It's a little bit daunting when you embark on recording audio and video, particularly when, like us, you've never done it before.
"James and Dave at YPS have been extremely helpful, provided a few valuable tips, and they've also edited and published the approved final edits too.
"Using YPS has been a massive benefit and has, saved us time. It has prevented us from floundering around with the wrong equipment. We'd definitely recommend them to anyone else seeking to embark on a similar venture."
